Single Felines Seeking New Homes...

A couple weeks ago I read through one of Christina's blogs. She mentioned one of the shelter volunteers introducing her to Streaker, a loving female cat. When walking through the cat rooms I noticed that Streaker had been put on deposit along with about 5 other cats awaiting their new owners. Sadly I was not able to find any of the cats I had taken photos of previously with adoption tags but there were a lot missing, such as Zachary Binx. It makes me wonder if that is because they fell vulnerable to the leukemia out break or because (hopefully) they were adopted during my time away from the shelter.
Streaker

Streaker here is a sweet little girl who has been recently adopted after calling the WCAS home for about 3 months. Hopefully she will have plenty of bed space and toys to play with at her new home very soon.

  1. I love Streaker's fur with great detail, texture and color. Did you use the sharpening tool? Also, the whiskers are bright and entrancing. Good Work!

  2. Fantastic image. The exposure time really brings out the lighting and vibrant effects to her eyes and fur in this photo. The camera angle makes this photo magazine worthy as well. Streaker is a great cat to photograph especially when you can catch her in the light- it makes her eyes dance. However, I find the image to be over sharpened making it looking hard and too intense, perhaps sharpening slightly less would help soften and enhance the photo more.

  3. Holly, I want you to check the Outgoing Report to see if any of your critters were adopted.
I agree that this is a strong photo. I would just like to see the left corners a little bit darker. Nice composition.

  4. Thank you all I do think the exposure is a little bright, which could drown out some of Streakers color. However, I am pleased to know Streaker went home this week!
